I enjoy being in my university workshop. With the excuse of being saving money and time I set aside for myself, I have made two projects. The first is a modular wooden shoe rack and the second is a wooden frame for a full body mirror. These projects helped me improve my skills in the workshop through the use of various machines and mills. I've learned to be resourceful and creative with my designs to make elegant products I still keep with me today.

My first project was motivated by the absence of a shoe rack in my university accommodation. My idea was to design it to be compact and modular by enabling the top rack to fit neatly in the bottom rack for easy storage. Additionally, it functions as a slim table if placed sideways, enabling easy storage.
It was made using wood, wood glue, and nails.
My second project is fueled by my want for a full body mirror, but they would go for 50 quid online. So I bought myself some IKEA mirror panes for 7 quid and built the frame out of wood myself. Adding on to the square frame with chamfered sides, I added a protruding inner frame for aesthetics. The frame was coated with Danish oil to give a natural color.
